Outdoor Enthusiast/College Student

This is a temp to permanent, part time, Event Operations Manager opening, for a full service event production and equipment rental company. They specialize in servicing events that range from a one hundred person 5k fun run to other larger marathons.

JOB FUNCTION:
Manage and maintain multi-event outdoor equipment inventory.
Successfully plan and organize logistics of outdoor events.
Manage transportation plan for transport of equipment and supplies to outdoor event locations.
Work with Exec Director, Event Staff and Vendors to maintain control of budgets.
This is a working, supervisory role. Responsible for doing manual labor, driving, and handling all aspects of set up and take down of race event equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Computer savvy
Relevant outdoor experience required
Able to lift 40lbs and be in excellent health;non-smoker
Ability to establish and follow budgets
Excellent team building skills
Superb organizational and project management skills
Ability to travel and work weekends - weekends are mandatory
Multitasking skills are necessary
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize with sense of urgency
Ability to manage and supervise with clarity, precision and speed
20 hours per week. Hours are flexible. Weekends are required, sometimes as early as 3am.
