Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer

Purpose: Our client, a medical device company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an exciting 6 month contract opportunity. This person will be facilitating continuous improvement activity in support of new continuous improvement objectives.

Responsibilities include:

-Design of Experiments

-Statistical Process Control

-Develops product and process improvements

-Performs process and equipment validations

-Ensures compliance with GMP's

-Writes engineering and manufacturing specifications

Qualified candidates should have:

-3-5 years experience

-Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering (will accept a candidate with BSME and Industrial experience)

-Solid experience with Lean Manufacturing

-Ability to perform cost studies to determine lowest cost of manufacturing

-Ability to perform work break-down

-Ability to investigate ergonomics and cost vs. benefit of assembly equipment and branches

-Ability to create and modify AutoCAD drawings
