Function: MaintenancePay Type: ExemptPosition Number: 90191277 Mgr Maintenance IVEmployee Type: Full Time Shift 1Job Description: This position is responsible for management of the maintenance and refrigeration departments for the facility. This encompasses building and equipment maintenance, new design/layout of equipment, cost management, and labor budgeting with a common goal of lowering cost, optimizing yields and production of quality food safe products. This includes management of inventories, capital planning and financial justification for major projects and purchase. The maintenance and refrigeration departments are required to work in a safe environment under the regulations of such agencies of USDA and OSHA. Duties will also include serving on committees such as safety or others as they arise. The management of procedures, policies, and programs required to run these departments would also be duties of this manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Requires education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses.Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills. For example; generating simple letters, spreadsheets and/or graphics; or creating simple queries and data output using a fourth generation language; may require knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.
