PC SUPPORT TECH





Merz Pharmaceuticals has an outstanding pportunity for an experienced PC Support Tech. This position provides end user support for internal and remote employees. Responsibilities include:
Installation of personal computers and peripherals.
Installation of software on personal computers.
Connection of devices to Network environment.
Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics on personal computers and Network components.
Perform routine maintenance on personal computers and Network components.
Acts as backup LAN Administrator.
Provides "Help Desk" services for internal and remost users.
Responsible for daily operations, configuration and support of Sales Force Automation (SFA) applications.
Configures and maintains all mobile hardware associated with SFA.
Develops and maintains computing asset/inventory tracking database.
Ensures software license compliance through audits of the corporate computing environment.
Devleops and maintains a database of all support contracts including contract numbers, contract information, duration, and costs.
Performs other project-oriented work as directed.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Associates Degree in PC repair or equivalent diploma required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office installation and support
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Ability to learn new methods and technologies.
