Industrial Engineer
Purpose: Job Summary: The Industrial Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations
by recommending method improvements, implementing training programs, completing work instructions, and supporting Lean initiatives / facility / costing projects
Responsibilities:
Improve and develop standard times for manufacturing processes.
Maintain actual costing estimates of current manufacturing processes.
Develop capacity, efficiency, and utilization analysis.
Develop, implement & improve systems and processes that support manufacturing operations.
Develop cost justifications for capital investments that support manufacturing operations. Develop model and analysis from current ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Communicates department projects with plant management,
Responsible for needed training program for technician and assemblers on the manufacturing floor. This includes design of the program, documentation of training materials, and implementation/tracking of employees moving through a training roadmap.
Develop manufacturing estimates to meet pricing requirements for customer RFQ?s.
Develop statistical analysis to improve product quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/ Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
2 years demonstrated experience in Industrial Engineering.
Experience with project management software packages.
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Microsoft Access: query building
Must possess exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written at all levels.Classification:Full-TimeCompensation:
