Industrial Electrician/Operator

This position primary responsibilities include:

- Performs maintenance in accordance with written procedures.

- Develops written procedures where necessary.

- Prepares documentation for reporting deferrals, completions, material usage and feedback for review by the Plant Engineer.

- Safely and effectively perform routine and non-routine equipment maintenance on automated production equipment. Equipment included, but not limited to: Hydraulic/Pneumatic control systems, PLC Control Systems. Material handling equipment; roller conveyors, belt conveyors, walking beams, elevators and product transports.

- Troubleshoot operational and equipment problems and repair.

- Install parts or make changes as needed.

- Inspect machinery and equipment for proper working conditions. Corrects faults discovered.

- Adjust scheduled repair for to minimize production downtime.

- Perform welding as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires:

- Must show above average maintenance skills in a non-reactive environment.

- Must show excellent knowledge of motor theory & repair, electrical distribution systems, power electronics and control systems, and electrical component testing. Allen-Bradley & Siemens PLC Programming a plus.

- Minimum 5 yrs industrial experience in a non-reactive maintenance environment.

- Must show basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.

- Must have strong knowledge of automated systems and industrial equipment.

- Strong electrical/electronic and mechanical aptitude.

- Strong Industrial Electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

- Must be able to read and interpret Blueprints, Schematics and Layout Drawings.

- Motivated Self-starter with Excellent Leadership ability.

- Must be Computer Proficient.
