HYDRAULIC/INDUSTRIAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Position Description: Hydraulic/Industrial Assembly Technician
Location: Victor
Department: Production
Work Hours: 8:00 am till 4:30 pm

JOB SUMMARY: An individual to support the company in general assembly of products such as: Hydraulic, Industrial and Aerospace Assemblies
REQUIREMENTS
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Production Assembler
A.Hose Assembly – utilizing industrial crimping machines
B.Mechanical Assembly – utilizing small tools and hand assembly
C.Steel tube assembly – utilizing tube bender, milling machine, deburring tools and some braising
D.Packaging – utilizing bags, boxes, labels, etc.
E.Utilize some machines, small tools and measuring equipment
F.Utilize testing equipment such as pressure tester or other measuring devices
2.Follow documented work instructions and procedures
3.Document material used and time study of each order
4.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
5.Support continuous quality and efficiency initiatives
6.Assist in new product development
7.Take on additional tasks as directed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Good attendance record required Experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have mechanical aptitude
Proficient at using measuring devices
Attention to detail and quality oriented
Good organization skills
Good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent
