Electronics Assembler- 2nd Shift

Job Description:Perform electro-mechanical sub assembly work utilizing basic hand tools, written instruction sheets, blueprints and fixtures.
Calibration of electro-mechanical assemblies utilizing portable signal sources and multimeters.Perform troubleshooting and repair of circuit boards and hand soldering per written instructions and blue print specifications.Complete wire harness assemblies, which includes cutting, stripping, crimping and tinning of wire.

REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma plus 2 Year Technical School Education in Electronics is necessary. Along with:5 plus years of related experience in a similar position.Blueprint reading, understanding of schematics and symbols.
Knowledge and experience with IPC-610 soldering standards.
Knowledge and experience with Electrostatic Discharge Practice.
Knowledge and experience with wire wrapping. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and electronic test equipment.
Experience in troubleshooting and repair of circuit boards.Knowledge of surface mount and through-hole boards.
Detail oriented, able to follow instructions and good communication skills needed.This position requires the ability and desire to work in a ‘hands-on’ environment and with team product design. Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task are also necessary.
