Department: Environmental Services
Schedule: Full Time 80 hrs per pay
Shift: Night Shift
Hours: Rotate day/evening shift; weekdays/rotate weekends
Job Details: Education and/or experience equivalent to completion of high school. Knowledge of infection control procedures as it pertains to providing Environmental Services. At least three years experience in hard floor care and hospital Environmental Services with specific experience in medical/surgical or surgery is required.
Job: Completes weekly work schedules at least four weeks in advance and daily area assignments. Provides training and monitors activities of work crews on appropriate infection control and cleaning procedures; provides documentation of services/ procedures completed; performs a variety of regular cleaning activities to effectively and efficiently maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness and improved aesthetic environment for the hospital. Completes Crewleader work schedules at least four weeks in advance, maintains inventory of cleaning supplies, orders weekly paper, plastic and cleaning supplies. Completes time adjustments for Environmental Service Aides and Crewleaders in the Kronos System, maintains Medical and Hazardous Waste Manifests as per D.O.T. regulations.
