CNC Machinist/Programmer

ADB Industries is seeking a CNC Machinist who has programming experience.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a CNC machinist who has programming experience and knows how to set-up a machine. We have vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers. You will plan the sequence of machining operations to fabricate details to engineering drawing requirements holding close tolerances on complex configurations as required. You should be able to use shop equipment as applicable and be familiar with various measuring techniques used to validate machined parts. You will be interfacing with Engineering and Quality Assurance personnel. As we are a small company, you may be required to perform other duties outside of the machine shop department. The person who will be the right fit for this job will be able to work as a team.Requirements:All eligible candidates must:
1.Have at least 5 years experience in CNC mill programming, preferably using Virtual Gibbs software.
2.Be able to interpret complex engineering drawings which utilize ANSI/ASME Y 14.5M geometric tolerancing.
3.Know advanced shop math and geometry.
4.Be able to lift 35 pounds and meet the physical requirements.
5.Provide own tools.
6.Must be able to be available to work overtime during the week and Saturdays.
7.Speak English clearly and be able to communicate effectively.
8.Have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
9.Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident.Compensation:

ADB Industries is a small aerospace manufacturing company located in Burbank, CA. We currently have one shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with some overtime. We are a job shop that produces parts for aerospace, defense and commercial clients. We have on-going, repeat contracts that keep us busy, but we also get new parts in all the time that challenge our employees’ abilities and critical thinking skills. This makes our work environment fast-paced and exciting. Overall, ADB Industries is a great place to work! To our credit, a majority of our employees have been with us for over 10 years.
