We are seeking an Associate Director/Director for fixed income credit analysis of the Industrials sector. This position will have direct responsibility for a portfolio of up to 15 companies. Additional responsibilities will include working with other members of the team on company coverage and industry projects. Primary duties include: conducting meetings with senior corporate management teams; performing quantitative and qualitative analysis; presenting recommendations to Fitch's internal credit rating committees; communicating ratings and rating rationale to senior management of issuers; writing and publishing research reports; and interacting with investors, bankers, sell-side analysts, and media.
Must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant analytical experience in high yield or investment grade securities. Prior experience analyzing the Industrial sector is preferred. Strong writing skills, a solid foundation of analytical skills, and well-developed interpersonal communication skills are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary. MBA and/or CFA/CPA preferred. Position will require some travel.
