Assemblers (Electro-Mechanical)

Assembler 'A'
• Performs complex wiring, soldering and assembly of subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Reads and interprets complex wiring diagrams, color codes, schematics and wire lists.
• Builds harnesses of high complexity
• Terminates various multi-conductor and coaxial cables.
• Utilizing a high degree of proficiency, wires and solders various components within circuits and chassis.
• Performs mechanical assembly of high complexity chassis and cabinets.
• Occasionally employs basic knowledge of electrical theory and its application to basic wiring and testing using voltage and ohmmeters.
• Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes, reassembles and tests units as required.
• Sets up and operates automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.
• May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.

Assembler 'B'
• Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
• Operates automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.
• Performs wiring, soldering and mechanical assembly of subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, color codes, schematics and wire lists.
• Builds harness of moderate complexity.
• Terminates various multi-conductor and coaxial cables. Strip and tins wires.
• Utilizing a moderate degree of proficiency wires and solders various components within circuits and chassis.
• Performs mechanical assembly of moderately complex chassis and cabinets.
• May be required to perform continuity checks and rework.

Assembler 'C'
• Performs routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections.
• Assembles and/or installs various electrical or electronic components where operations and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams and assembly procedures.
• Performs repetitive operations such as soldering wire to terminals and plugs, installing relays, building cables and harnesses, assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.
• May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Assembler A - Minimum of 5 years related assembly experience

Assembler B - Minimum of 12 months related assembly experience

Assembler C - Minimum of 6-12 months related assembly experience
