Technology Coordinator

As Technology Coordinator you will be the technology support person for the company as well as the liaison between our network and infrastructure consultants.
Day to day assistance to our staff (most of whom are technically competent)Purchasing and setup of new computers to specifications. Restoring computers to older restore points.Ensuring and designing backups, restoring backups in the case of drive failure.Manage six servers; make sure spare drives are always on hand.Review firewall and network logs.Manage a Goldmine SQL server.Research new technologies that can help.Manage email and spam filters.Ensure virus protection updates.Manage Gotomypc accounts for 3 external offices.Setup new employees and logins.Manage bandwidth providers and routers.Documenting procedures and changes to procedures.Creating Network Diagrams

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A 4 YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE.3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar help desk/networking type situation.In depth knowledge of Windows, PC management, networking, protection, and general troubleshooting techniques.Working knowledge of firewall configuration, database maintenance, network and switch management.Great with computers and procedures,Strong teaching and customer relationship skills,Excellent attention to detail and memory,Formalized computer training to be documented in your resume and verified as a condition of employment.A strong desire to build a career and have fun doing it!Local candidates only: must be eligible to work legally in the USA.
