4+ years of PC Laptop and Blackberry BES experience with most of;Blackberry Support
2nd/3rd level support for end-user Blackberry problems. Coordinate support with Telecom provider, RIM when necessary.
Add new users to BES server when devices deployed
Assist Deskside Technicians when deploying devices or replacing lost/damage devices
Evaluate new devices including new features and functionalityBES Administration
Perform maintenance on Server databases
Clean-up user accounts
Policy Creation/Assign Policies to Users
Monitor server
Test and Deploy Server patches and upgradesLotus Notes and iNotes Support
2nd/3rd level support for end-user Lotus Notes and iNotes issues
Research iNotes and 3rd party application issues, provide information for resolving issues. (e.g. Personal Firewall configurations, Pop-Up Blockers)
Research possible upgrades and improvement to iNotes environmentLaptop Support
3rd level support for BBH Laptops
Work with Deskside Technicians to troubleshoot difficult Laptop Problems
Work with Desktop Operations to evaluate laptop models every Quarter (Test laptops with Remote Access applications - VPN/iPass/iNotes)
Work with SMS group to test XP images on laptop models
Work with Tokyo support group to confirm XP Tokyo build works and Remote Access applications work normallyiPass/VPN support
2nd/3rd level support for BBH Laptop access with iPass/VPN
Support Data Security on iPass account creation for new users
Test VPN gateways to confirm they are working normally
Escalate VPN gateway issues to EC. Manage VPN gateway support.
Evaluate/Test/Deploy upgraded iPass client. (Currently several releases behind)Vendor VPN support
Work with ISM and end users for CIO approval of vendor access
Support ISM with creation of Vendor group on VPN gateway (unique group for every vendor)
Work with EC on creation of Vendor rules on VPN gateway (unique rules for every vendor)
Create application package for vendor utilizing group/rules created by ISM and EC (unique application package for each vendor)Home VPN support
Package Home VPN applications for Home VPN CD
Test Home VPN applications on different OS options (Windows ME, Windows 2000 (pro and home), Windows XP (pro and home)
Support installation of Home VPN applicationsManage Terminal Servers
Monitor 3 production Terminal Servers (free space, CPU, Memory Util, errors, number of users)
Maintain 2 test Terminal Servers for application testing. Install/Remove applications as necessary.
2-4 weeks to test and deploy TS applications
Week 1: Determine license restrictions and basic application compatibility with Terminal Server
Week 2: Install Application onto Test Terminal Server
Week 3: Test Application on Terminal Server
Week 4: Test Key applications (Charles River, Goldmine, 3270, Lotus Notes) and any application that may be effected
2nd/3rd level support for users accessing applications via Terminal Server. (approximately 40 concurrent users during normal work day)ACE Server Administration
Support ISM on using ACE server
Test and Upgrade server software when directed by ISM
Reset keyfobs as necessary
Provide basic reporting of VPN statistics using ACE authenticationsBlackIce Server Administration
Check server logs for suspicious activity reports
During crisis situations, create reports of activity, generate rules and exclusions based on possible threats
Monitor server and maintain SQL database
Install patches as necessary
Create policies for application monitoring for BBH Laptops and Home PCs
Develop application packages for BBH Laptops and Home PCs
Test BlackIce application for BBH Laptops and Home PCs
Test application upgrades/Apply server upgradesHATS Administration
Develop EAR file for use on Websphere server
Provide support for changing EAR file when necessaryPDA Support
