Supervisor of Insurance Operations
Supervisor of Insurance Operations
Our patient account associates use our revolutionary software to help the nation’s most prestigious hospitals resolve their insurance claims. Our team helps to manage claim investigation, negotiation and resolution with health insurance companies. We currently need a supervisor-level person, with hands-on team management and client interaction experience.
In this role, you will manage a team of 5-15 patient account associates, be assigned to “own” the management of 1-3 hospital inventories, and interact with clients daily to help your team resolve complex billing and follow-up issues. You will work closely with senior management to set strategic goals and priorities for your team, and to roll out company initiatives to your department. You will spend a lot of time helping members of your team solve problems, and mentoring them as they grow within the organization. At the same time, you will receive unparalleled training and development in an area of healthcare that is exploding with growth potential.
This is not a “job” where you sit idle waiting for someone to tell you what to do. Our employees thrive on the team atmosphere that we have created, and regularly tell us that our company is an amazing place to work. If you have exceptional overall healthcare and insurance knowledge, great people-management skills, a drive to succeed, and are looking for a work culture that treats you like family, then this is likely a great position for you to explore.
You will be responsible for:
·Managing a team of 5-15 patient account associates, who spend the bulk of their day identifying account issues, managing claim investigation, negotiation and resolution with health insurance companies.
·Interacting directly with our hospital clients, to better understand their needs and challenges—and help design solutions to solve their problems.
·Carrying out Quality Assurance audits of your team members, and preparing Quality Assurance reports for senior management.
·Monitoring your team members’ performance on subject matter certification/development tests, and helping them interpret their results to make continuous improvement.
·Using our company’s internal IT system to understand complex hospital charges and patiently help your team members use this data to resolve billing and follow-up issues.
·Monitoring assigned client inventories to ensure proper flow and internal process
