JOB SUMMARY:



The Senior Reports and Data Specialist provides management with critical data to make accurate, timely, and informed business decisions. Analyzes trends in workflow, creates and initiates reporting systems. Updates and maintains audit databases and compiles audit results. Provides technical support to various departments ensuring efficient and accurate data reporting and exchanges with external customers, vendors and sub-contractors.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generates ad-hoc database reporting using SQL.Runs daily, weekly and monthly reports.Reviews and assists with making changes to reporting system.Manages and implements projects which involve creating maps, reports, applications, project documentations and quality reviews. Interfaces with customers to gather and define project objectives. Communicates progress on active projects.Analyzes and evaluates data and develops possible solutions to outstanding system/data issues.Performs subcontractor specification review and intensive testing in regards to subcontractor system changes prior to implementation in production.Resolves data issues (i.e., billing, enrollment procedures, claims, etc.) by researching DOES, DEERS and other applications.Generates detailed, customized, analytical reports by creating accurate calculations and databases.Reviews, evaluates, and recommends changes to databases by investigating and researching problems within the database.Designs, creates, and maintains relational access databases.Maintains database tables, creates reports and templates and develops interface for data entry.Provides user support.Identifies data sources, analyzes requirements and translates them into program specifications. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.Creates digital maps for spatial analysis of provider relations and membership databases.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.



Certification/License:



Experience:


Two years comprehensive experience as a Report Analyst.



Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge and experience with MS products (Access, Word, Excel, Power Point), Showcase Query, Showcase Report Writer and Visio.

Any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.


As a government contractor, this position requires U. S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF85P or higher security.
