Sr. IT Analyst, Business Analysis - Life and Annuities

Responsibilities:
Symetra is looking for a Sr. IT Business Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills. The individual is needed to coordinate and support the Life & Annuities web sales and service along with other projects/tasks with client/server and mainframe. This individual is also needed to provide leadership to their IT team and business partners to provide technically advanced tools. This analyst will be working with and mentoring business analysts, working closely with developers, database analysts and other technical resources within the IT environment as well as business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with the System Development Lifecycle and the documentation that compliments it. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to mentor others Experience with software tools to provide project leadership from inception to completion. Experience with multiple platforms; including mainframe, web and client/server and the ability to identify the proper data fields and sources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including strong questioning and listening skills and ability to look beyond obvious answers and understand the impact on other areas. Financial Services knowledge is preferred.
