Sr. IT Analyst, Business Analysis - Annuities IT

Responsibilities:
Strong technical and analytical abilities that includes: Extensive experience with the full System Development Lifecycle to guide projects and gather business requirements using a variety of methods. Provide leadership within their IT team and with business partners (including leading smaller projects without a project manager). Work with developers, DBA's, vendors and other technical resources within the IT environment, as well as with business partners across the company. Partner effectively and proactively with IT business counterparts to deliver integrated solutions. REQUIREMENTS
Proven ability to develop process maps, conduct process analysis as it relates to business workflow and provide options for increasing process efficiency. Experience with the System Development Lifecycle and the documentation that compliments it. Experience with tools that provide project leadership from start to finish. Experience with multiple platforms including mainframe, client/server and web. Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with peers and business partners. This includes strong interviewing skills, precise technical documentation, ability to look beyond obvious answers and understand the impact on cross-functional areas, and the ability to comfortably speak in a public setting. Proven ability to initiate change within an IT organization, and utilize best practices to improve processes and results. Financial Services knowledge is preferred.
