Sr. Functional Business Analyst - PeopleSoft

Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY:Involved in the analysis, configuration, customization and implementation of Payroll/Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Enterprise Resource Planning applications from a functional perspective.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (*essential job functions)
1. *is accountable for the data capture, design, and management of specific aspects of the Peoplesoft implementation.
2. *coordinates closely with clients to gather information, confirm design specifications, and monitor progress against project timeframes and goals
3. *produces complete, accurate, legible, and timely design data in required project formats
4. other duties as assignedJOB SPECIFICATIONS:Knowledge:
knowledge of Peoplesoft applications in either Peoplesoft Benefits or Peoplesoft core Human Resources.
knowledge of ERP applications in order to fully understand the timeframes, design needs, communication requirements, and teamwork required to successfully implement a company-wide technology.
knowledge of Human Resources applications to understand fully the information managed by such systems, interfaces with other ERP applications, and integration with existing policies, procedures, and regulations governing the informationSkills/Abilities:
demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while providing complete and accurate work product
demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, including making effective, persuasive presentations to project team, facilitate meetings with user clients, and negotiate balance between competing needs and resources.
demonstrated ability to work effectively across the organization - with members of the design & implementation team, external consultants, and technical and non-technical professionals.
ability to quickly grasp the complexities of implementing one solution across disparate lines of business.
ability to use Microsoft Project or other project planning/management applications.Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or other appropriate discipline.
minimum 4 years related technology administration experience in corporation of comparable size and complexity.
experience implementing and administering ERP applications, especially Peoplesoft.
experience working with payroll, human resources, and benefits systems.
