Sr. Business Analyst SAP SEM BW Hyperion

Assists Project Manager on high-priority projects. Interfaces with programmers/analysts to explain business solutions important to the user. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Complete complex system configuration changes for current business applications. Interface with Training Teams in developing the best learning environment for the end user. Typically requires four to five years of solid business knowledge, systems analysis, and project experience.Analyzes user requirements and works with technical resources to determine system configuration and customization. Tests the changes made to the configuration prior to implementation of these changes to production.
Assists in business process and system blueprint, testing, training and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule.
Develops business process definition, documentation, and end user training and support.
Provides business process guidance and direction.
Supports change management initiatives and works as liaison with stakeholder community.
Delivers system demos and presentations to senior management, financial analysts, and business analysts.
Assists in the design, development, implementation and support of Functional Specifications related to all aspects of the project scope within the established timeframes and budgets.
Partners with Financial Planners and Analysts to ensure effective teamwork in planning and reporting.
Leads Functional Unit, Integration, User Acceptance and Regression testing for future deployments.
Provides second level support to end users on questions they may have regarding system functionality or processes.Four Year Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related field; MBA preferred
Four to five years of solid business knowledge, systems analysis and project experience with two to five years Financial Planning and Reporting Business Process knowledge and experience; CPG Industry experience preferred
Experience using, designing, and/or developing Financial Planning, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence toolsets such as SAP BW, SAP SEM, and/or Hyperion required.
Significant experience with developing reports in SAP BW or Hyperion preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to understand business requirements and write IT requirements definitions and functional specifications
Assist in the development and maintenance of work plans and test plans
Ability to work in diverse, fast paced, matrix type environment, across teams and for multiple supervisors
Self-starter, able to work with other teams, autonomously, and serving to deliver results at the tactical and strategic level
Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word; Visio and Access preferred
