Reports to: Vice President, FinanceJob Summary:
A Senior IT Business Systems/Database Analyst has full responsibilities for all database and data warehousing projects and implementations.Responsibilities to Include:
Responsible for SQL administration to include ensuring proper data imports occur on schedule; monitoring nightly processing for errors; designing and developing data transformation service (DTS) packages for data imports; administering data security access; monitoring and maintaining internal backup-logging and space allocations; and providing advice on SQL software installation and configuration.
Creates and executes applications and SQL stored procedures for use by ASP, ASP.NET, HTML pages; maintains and creates application security for these pages; creates/maintains SQL stored procedures for data conversions including those for SAP migration; extracts data and develops data warehouses inclusive of creating data cubes; and modifies existing applications based on changing business requirements.
Performs Ad-Hoc Reporting functions inclusive of analyzing reporting needs and developing algorithms to extract needed information from existing data and developing either on-going viewing capabilities for requested report or provide one time product for single need reports.
Provide technical support to ensure that critical business functions are performed.
Plans and directs system analysis, design, programming and other data processing work.
Plans and projects activities and other data processing work for the applications that he/she is responsible for.
Assists in the development and implementation of new or revised management information systems, specifically working on legacy system for data migration to SAP.
Acts as a software consultant to management on information systems matters.
Develops and maintains effective liaison and coordination between users and IT department for the efficient scheduling and accomplishment of user data processing requirements.
Establishes detail plans, schedules and controls for managing his/her work load.
Investigates and reports on software systems that may have application to user departments.
Responsible for all documentation on projects he/she is directing.
Responsible for data storage, reporting, cleansing and archiving needs of the business unit.

REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree or equivalent.Position Requirements:
3+ years of experience preferred.
Must exhibit the ability to effectively interface with peers, employees, management and customers within the organization.
Must exhibit a high proficiency in analytical and problem solving skills.
Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
Extensive knowledge and experience with interfaces, data migration, web and windows development, window services, stored procedures, triggers, DTS packages and standard database creation.
Hands on programming experience associated with mainframe computing systems, SAP programming or SAP conversion preferred.
Programming proficiency in standard SQL a must and experience in web development preferred.
Must demonstrate knowledge of assorted languages, data standards and protocols such as VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, HTML, FTP.License and Certification Requirements:
