Location: Geneva, IL
Salary: $60-70k

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

An international distribution company is looking for a motivated, dynamic, team player to add to their fast-paced accounting department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Rotational Accounting Program! Great opportunity!
-Assist in the month end close process
-Prepare and post journal entries, including adjusting entries
-Prepare monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
-Analyze and interpret financial trends for various income statement and balance sheet accounts.
-Profit & Loss analysis
-Prior year variance analysis
-Review ongoing operations to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
-Prepare quarterly and year-end audit schedules for external auditors.
-Discuss results with appropriate level of management
-Ad hoc reports as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
-A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
-2+ years of relative experience
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Excel and Word
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
