Senior Corporate Accountant

Salary: $70-80k

Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

My client, an industry leading Fortune 500 global firm, has an opportunity as a Senior Corporate Accountant within one of their largest operating divisions. They have been experiencing a high level of growth in their client portfolios and have determined the need to strengthen their internal departments, including their domestic G/L accounting group.

The responsibilities for this position will focus primarily on the following areas:
1.Facilitating the month / year end close process
2.Maintaining the corporate subsidiary General Ledger
3.Reconciling subsidiary accounts
4.Providing assistance with the annual tax preparation
5.Preparation and reporting financial statement data
6.Journal entries
7.Revenue Recognition
8.Special projects
9.International Accounting including translations and remeasurements
10.Intercompany entries and reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS
Given the dynamic nature of this unique opportunity, candidates must possess the following:

1.BS in Accounting / Finance
2.3-5 years experience
3.Strong General Ledger experience
4.CPA strongly preferred but not required
5.Ability to build rapport and communicate with all levels of management, both inter-department as well as the companies remote sight
6.Advanced knowledge of accounting principles
7.Time management and problem solving skills are necessary
