Senior Compensation Analyst (Ref.# JP25324-FF)

Typical Responsibilities:
As a member of the Corporate Compensation staff, assist in the analysis, design and delivery of SCE wide compensation programs. This includes, but is not limited to, salary structure design/development, annual compensation review, design and implementation of base salary programs, design and implementation of bonus, incentive programs incentive pay (Results Sharing/MIP), and employee recognition programs (ACE, Spot Bonus, etc.). Acts as a consultant to assigned business units, providing analysis, advice and education to executives and line managers on compensation issues. Develops and interprets compensation policies. Conducts job classification studies, salary surveys, internal/external market pricing, FLSA/California Wage Orders exemption reviews, database management, and ad hoc analyses as requested. Partners with management of assigned client groups to develop solutions to compensation issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate must have a Masters Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related field or an equivalent combination or formal education, training, and experience. Successful candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience designing and implementing compensation policies and programs including compensation administration issues including knowledge of company policies/procedures and/or state and federal laws relating to compensation. Must have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills using statistical analysis and database management tools. Must have expert knowledge of MS Access and Excel and intermediate knowledge of Word and PowerPoint. Must have excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills and client consulting skills.Demonstrated ability to negotiate with and partner with other HR professionals as well as line management. Demonstration of working as lead on project teams.

Preferences:
Degree: MBA/MA/MS, Certificate: CCP Designation. CCP Designation. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or SAP compensation applications. HR Project leadership experience.
