Senior Business Systems Analyst

- Lead medium to large Purchasing systems projects to completion. - Drive gathering and documenting business processes and requirements. - Facilitate the technical design of new applications and changes to existing applications. - Drive the development of training materials. - Conduct user training. - Establish and drive testing processes to ensure thoroughness and quality. - Identify and drive application/user issues to resolution. - Work as an integral member of a cohesive team. - Provide flexibility in a largely project-driven environment. - Provide User support.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience leading systems projects to completion. - A proactive focus on production systems and their stability - Extensive experience in Quality Assurance, including developing test cases and performing Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance testing - Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects simultaneously - Strong ability to work with the Business Community to determine requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Strong organization skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - An understanding of systems architecture, change control, versioning, and environment management. - An understanding of databases, tables, and data structures. - Ability to lead other team members and business partners through the project life cycle. - Strong problem solving skills. - Independently manage time effectively. - Patience, understanding, flexibility and a sense of humor are required. - Ability to travel approximately 10-20% Pluses: - Working knowledge of supply chain management - Experience with business workflow tools
