SAP HR - Business Systems Analyst III

If you bring these qualities to your work, then we'd like you to consider joining our team.Under minimal supervision, responsible for developing, testing and implementation of configuration and business solutions in SAP HR including, but not limited to: Organization Management, Personnel Administration, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Compensation, and 3rd Party Benefits/Payroll Integration. Additional knowledge of SAP's Recruitment and Business Warehouse modules is preferred.Key liaison between business users and technical teams to identify, analyze and translate business requirements to solve moderate to complex business needs. This is a senior-level position in the Business Systems Analyst series. Designs, develops and manages the strategic execution of detail design, configuration and testing of the Company's Human Resource business processes, resulting in high quality business solutions. Establishes business case/ROI, consults with the business and proposes recommendations to senior management for approval. Ensures that the Company's business requirements are identified and achieved through proper system design, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Analyzes and evaluates SAP functionality to meet business needs, including requirements gathering, documentation, set-up activities, configuration, testing and user support for SAP application software. Works in cross-functional teams tasked with solving business issues.
Manages work plans, timelines and budgets. Partners with stakeholders and Business Enterprise Liaisons (BELs) to identify necessary department resources to meet defined objectives.
Participates in strategic customer meetings to review, propose and/or evaluate new business opportunities that are designed to improve customer relationships, operating efficiencies and/or add business benefits.
Develops detailed design specifications for projects and enhancements.
Performs required documentation according to corporate standards (CSOPs, CFOR, etc.) and IT Best Practices and Operations Manuals (OM-IT).
Designs and develops test plans (e.g. test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements. Manages user acceptance testing with
the business users.
Performs system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure original requirements are met and defined constraints are worked within.
Manages necessary business changes/additions to the SAP or integrated third party system after testing is complete.
Participates in strategic customer meetings to review, evaluate new technical challenges that are required to improve operating efficiencies and/or business benefits.
Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of SAP configuration experience with HR modules.
Testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system and regression testing.
Cost estimation of a project to design, develop, test and deploy the required solution.
Key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry.
Integration points with other SAP modules, BW and third party software.
English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Researching, evaluating and analyzing business requirements and new computer system methods, applications, procedures and techniques.
Functioning within a group of managers and technical staff, and be able to influence without authority; interfacing professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel.
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Complies with company policies, practices and procedures, including safety rules and regulation.
Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
Handling multiple duties and assignments.
