RPO Writer

Volt, a leading $2.2 billion talent acquisition and technology organization, is seeking an RPO Writer for a position with a growing Volt subsidiary specializing in the development and implementation of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solutions. All solutions are customer-centric, embrace Six Sigma methodologies, respond to the voice of the customer, and are executed by certified project managers.
In this position you will work closely with the sales staff to research and prepare proposals for recruitment outsourcing solutions in response to prospect requests. Development of the RFP requires market research, client research, editing existing material, and writing new content to respond to customer questions specific to their unique needs. Developing proposals incorporate the aggregation of content using complex formats, layouts, and styles, including tables, glossaries, artwork and spreadsheets incorporated into each document created. Coordinates research and strategy meetings with sales, corporate staff, field operations, at all business levels including administrative personnel and executive leaders
Duties include, but are not limited to:Working with, and as an extension, of the RPO sales team responding to Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) requirements.
Evaluating incoming requests and proposals to thoroughly understand customer expectations, needs, and business drivers, helping to develop and support the overall business strategy of the response.
Creating and design full-color presentation materials, graphics, and charts, as needed to illustrate concepts for customer presentations and proposals, when necessary.
Conducting conference calls with stakeholders to drive proposal content and pricing discussion; ensures all necessary business decisions are made, followed up and communicated in proposal.
Working closely with Senior Research Writer and Data Research Specialist consolidating written material and data collection into a single cohesive response.
Working with Business Analyst to compile pricing according to information provided by management and/or field offices, and prepare data for online auctions.
Maintaining proposal files and other related material for reference and future need.
Work within stringent time frames to meet proposal deadlines.


Requirements:

Qualifications must include:Strong business writing skills equivalent to a professional journalist; ability to write persuasive content under tight deadlines; experience in marketing and business/proposal writing.
Experience working in the RPO or HRO industry required.
MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio and Publisher for Windows including complex formatting, multiple disk formats, and different computer platforms; Adobe PageMaker, Acrobat Reader.
Experience in design, layout and production of quality documents to meet the customer's specifications.
Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications or related disciplines.
Computer network organization and location of directories and subdirectories from which to retrieve information.
Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
Organizational and problem-solving ability; strong attention to detail.
