Quantitative Business Analyst

This position is a member of the Customer Analysis, Research and Reporting team responsible for designing, developing, executing and presenting customer analysis and reporting that provides insights into the International Card business. The position is within the Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management (CA&RM) team and will work closely with other business partners in the International Consumer Products & Marketing (ICPM) organization.Specific duties include:

Examination of customer behaviors and attributes (e.g. spend, attrition, income, tenure) to support marketing and contact strategies.

Working closely with Acquisition, Marketing and Customer Service teams to develop measurement and analyses methodologies and applications to evaluate the effectiveness of new marketing/customer experience strategies and tactics.

Development and production of reports and analysis to support business partners in the areas of customer acquisition, cross-sell and loyalty.

Communicating analysis results to help inform decisions and set strategy.

Assist in the evaluation of current reporting, identifying opportunities to eliminate redundancies and reporting gaps.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:

Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, etc. (Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant analytical work experience will be considered)

Experience using Excel, Access, and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting

1+ year SAS (Base, MACRO, STAT) programming experience in UNIX or PC environment (experience working with multiple, large datasets is a plus)

Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail

Self-starter with a proven track record of driving results

Strong quantitative skills with a solid understanding of economic principles

Ability to deliver high visibility analysis under tight timelines

Ability to navigate through a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical analysis into business insights/recommendations for a non-technical audience

Knowledge of the charge/credit card business is a plus
