Responsibilities:
Perform Quality assurance functions of New Business transactions to ensure established time standards and procedures are followed. Perform Quality assurance functions of transactions to ensure established procedures and time standards including state mandated requirements are followed. Ability to develop a solid understanding of state replacement regulations and requirements. Participate in a monthly work group with Compliance, New Business, Product Lines, Replacement form contact, and Retirement Service Compliance staff to ensure ongoing communication between all members. Analyze findings of evaluations to develop and maintain quality assurance reports, suggest recommendations for workflow improvements & identify procedure deficiencies. Documents QA opportunities and performance measures for monthly and quarterly reporting to upper management. Monitor and analyze reports to minimize negative financial exposure by ensuring prompt correction of errors and providing feedback to management of patterns identified and training opportunities. Perform review of documents prepared for back end scanning. Perform audit functions for 38A1 quarterly and prepare supporting documentation for Compliance. Provides information to assist in feedback and formal education of department staff. Create and contribute updates of procedures in Sharepoint. Special projects as assigned. Ability to retain high level of detailed regulatory information and make informed decisions based on research and good judgment. Able to work under pressure, independently and in group situations. Works to maintain positive relationships at all times including relaying unfavorable decisions. Self-motivated by desire to finish assigned tasks within established deadlines without sacrifice to quality of work. Maintain internal database with errors of team members on transactions processed and reviewed.
REQUIREMENTS
4 years Annuity insurance experience. Hands on experience on PARIS, Vantage, and TRAC systems, including processing knowledge. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to quality and detail. Ability to research and analyze data; proactively recognize problems and works towards solutions. State replacement regulation and requirement knowledge helpful. Open to repetitive work on projects with similar content and accuracy requirements. Experience in development and maintenance of quality control processes for software development and business functions. Acquired skills and quality experience will be crucial in meeting the timing and delivery of all requirements for successful quality control processes. Previous quality management experience preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. Ability to propose, negotiate, and sell ideas. Demonstrated ability to make informed and creative decisions based on experience and quality judgment.
