Project Budget Specialist

ResponsibilitiesThe Open Science Grid is a national initiative to operate and extend a distributed facility for scientific research.
The project management staff will work as part of the Open Science Grid to prepare, maintain and publish the project plans and reports, working closely with the Executive Director and Resources Managers.This includes:
The Project Execution Plan and WBS
Financial Plans and Reports
Working with OSG Coordinators on specific Activity Plans within the OSG scope.
Collect monthly effort reports from OSG funded efforts.
Collect and publish OSG Accounting information.
Working with the External Project Technical Leads to collect all reports and plans.
Prepare material for and organizing reviews.
Prepare and submit reports to the Oversight Groups including the agencies.
Prepare materials for the Science Oversight Group.
Prepare materials for the OSG Council meetings.
Support Coordinators and Activity Leads on Cooperative Proposals to will augment and contribute.
Schedule meetings, provide materials, and record minutes from the Resources Board. REQUIREMENTS
RequirementsSignificant experience and skills in project management planning and reporting.
Excellent analytic, written and communication skills.
Experience with the PMBOK project management process, DOE and/or NSF requirements for project oversight.
