Program Manager - Advanced Process Technology Development

The Advanced Process Technology Development (APTD) group supports very exciting SiGe BiCMOS processes and CMOS technologies: these technologies contain all device types from CMOS to bipolar, to high-voltage CMOS devices, to all kinds of passives elements. The group supports a wide variety of technology nodes from 0.5um down to 0.18um (internally) and 0.13um at TSMC.

Our APTD group is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager. The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing APTD’s New Technology Development Projects. The successful candidate will be able to complete the following:

Develop project plans using MS Project and LWS
Take ownership of project timelines
Lead, and hold weekly cross-functional project progress meetings, manage meeting agenda, assign action items, and issue meeting minutes
Coordinate activities of cross-functional groups for successful completion of new process development projects
Report project progress to management
Hold Phase Reviews as planned in the Operational Business Plan
Insure supporting documentation is populated in TMS, and required approvals are obtained in TMS upon completion of development Phases and Learning Cycles
Interface with APTD internal groups to put in place necessary collateral required to develop new design packages
Interface with external NSC organizations to enable new product designs
Recommend improvements to current APTD practices to shorten new process development cycles

Secondary responsibilities include:

Participation in process and product design troubleshooting
Assistance in generating APTD yearly Strategic Business Plan and Operational Business Plan
Improving the overall APTD operational efficiency
Developing new methodologies to better manage APTD resources
REQUIREMENTS


The candidate should have a BSEE as well as 10 plus years of significant relevant experience in Program / Project Management. An MS or MBA is highly desirable as is experience in a wafer fab environment. The individual must posses leadership qualities, good communications skills and the ability to be firm and focused while working with cross-functional groups.
