Procurement & Inventory Planner

FEDERATED GROUP is a private label sales and marketing firm, specializing in the grocery, health and beauty, and foodservice industries.

We are growing our team and looking for a Procurement & Inventory Planner to support our growth efforts. In joining our team you will be critical to our success providing supply chain services to our retail, wholesale, and / or foodservice customers.

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the replenishment of consigned and owned finished goods inventory enabling the achievement of customer service goals an optimizing total supply chain costs. This is to include the development of target inventory levels by SKU and monitoring and reporting performance. Works with business unit management, vendor sourcing, and Program Mangers to execute go-to-market strategies. Develop and manage vendor and 3PL peer relationships to facilitate order fulfillment processes taking into account production cycles and sequences, and replenishment lead-times. Identifies and acts on opportunities for demand communication and management and supply chain process improvements. Maintains skills and flexibility to assume inventory replenishment management for a variety of product categories.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations or related field preferred. A minimum of three (3) years experience in purchasing and/or inventory management. MUST have strong oral and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem resolution skills. Highly motivated coupled with ability to work independently and in a team environment. Self-starter, energetic, strategic thinker, who has demonstrated excellent business judgment.
