PeopleSoft ERP Business Analyst


Client uses the PeopleSoft HCM, SCM and FMS suites. The PeopleSoft Systems Support Team works together to optimize PeopleSoft availability and performance to support users. As part of the PeopleSoft Systems Support Team, this position is integral to the development and implementation of new PeopleSoft modules and the upgrading, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of existing ones. This position is in direct support of PeopleSoft systems and modules, providing application development and systems support for web-enabled technologies using PeopleSoft tools and evaluating the impact of custom modifications on the system and batch processes.



Members of the PeopleSoft team serve as functional and technical resources for the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft development projects, turning specifications into working code accurately and quickly and designing creative solutions to complex business problems while working closely with business owners and users.



Position is responsible for PeopleSoft Systems in support of the Payroll and Benefits modules.



Job Duties include:
Maintaining PeopleSoft table setup and maintenance
Daily support for the payroll and benefits offices
Monitoring the production payroll schedule and associated jobs
Support year end processes
Queries/Reporting/Data Extraction from the PeopleSoft systems
PeopleSoft Security Review and Setup
Work with users to finalize functional design items
Work with technical resources to execute testing, validate results and track issues to resolution
Ensure documentation is complete and maintained accurately
PeopleSoft training and knowledge transfer to internal resources

REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 – 4 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM systems, including some experience with version 8.0 or higher
Payroll/Benefits business knowledge and experience
Skilled in testing phases (experience in testing phases or significant operations experience)
Skilled in troubleshooting
Ability to write SQL queries
Quick learner, good analytical skills, self-starter
Ability to communicate with technical resources
