Oracle Business Analyst

Purpose: Our client is looking for a full-time permanent hire who has extensive knowledge of Oracle ERP system applications. This position is responsible for the analysis, evaluation, testing, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide Oracle ERP system applications.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- The Business Analyst performs analysis of proposed new applications and changes to existing applications. This includes gathering user requirements, writing requirements specifications, participating in the development of design specifications, coordinating testing, and providing user training and support. For smaller projects the Business Analyst performs the role of project manager.
- The Oracle applications responsibility involves most of the ERP modules including: Oracle Financial's, HR, Manufacturing and Order Management. In addition this person would be responsible for interfaces between Oracle and other point or home grown application solutions, including Salesforce.com, Optio, Loftware, OFA, and UPS Worldship.
- Immediately the candidate would be responsible for the ERP analysis associated with our current Oracle upgrade project 11.5.9 to 11i10. Additionally, they would be responsible for the ERP analysis associated with moving our large recent acquisition from their incumbent ERP solution onto Oracle 11i.

Education & Experience:

- The qualified candidate must have successful experience with several Oracle 11i Applications including: HR, Oracle Financial's, Order Management, and Manufacturing. Experience with Discoverer, PL/SQL, Contracts, CRM, iExpense, iProcurement, and iSupport are a plus.
