Across our lines of business, our philosophy is the same: Partnering works for all of us.Line of Business: OPERATIONSThe Lead Operations Specialist II is responsible for assisting the supervisor with enhancing the productivity of the unit in addition to performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm?s business lines. This would include activities such as; instruction receipt and authentication, entry instruction and verification (dual controls), processing and recording, reporting and acknowledgement, and reconciliation. Some areas where these activities would take place include Trade Entry, Foreign Exchange Processing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, Research Notification and Corporate Services.Requirements:
Ensuring daily output standards, both quality and timeliness, are met
Monitoring and assisting in the resolution of issues
Managing daily production reporting
Assisting supervisor and other department managers with process improvements
Assisting in the development of team members / providing training
Reviewing and verifying work of team members
Approving / providing sign-off of team members work
Reviewing E&O situations and looking for corrective action
Coordinating control/production related activities
Helping to identify and document errors in an effort to reduce exposure
Coordinating intraday and end of day prioritization and reconciliation of daily work / proof and control
Assisting team members with day to day activities / providing back-up
Helping to ensuring all deadlines and requirements are being met
Following up on open inquiries
Interacting with other BBH departments on resolution of issues
Communicating professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to minimize risk and exposure
Juggling several tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints
Gaining efficiencies to improve individual productivity
Utilizing and operating all tools and technology appropriate to the role
Having an understanding of the big picture ? how specific function impacts the firm
Contributing to Division or Firm process improvement activitiesQualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent job experience.
1 - 2 years of custody or securities processing or other industry experience
Aptitude for thorough and timely research, analysis and resolution of a problem
Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
