Marketing Specialist
Assists the Sr. Marketing Specialist and Marketing Manager in the development, coordination, implementation and ongoing operations in one of the following three key marketing projects and processes within the greater metropolitan Texas areas including San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, El Paso and other select cities we expand our business to include:

Principal Accountabilities
1. Marketing Project ManagementSupports marketing initiatives by providing professional project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of marketing initiatives to meet the requirements of the particular project. The specialist assists in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing large marketing projects. May be independently assigned to smaller, less complicated projects.
Provides professional project management capabilities to include: communications management, meeting management, scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, and risk management.
2. Branding & CommunicationAssists in planning and implementing phases of marketing communications pieces to support customer relationships. May be independently assigned to smaller, less complicated projects.
3.Marketing Technology & InfrastructureAssists in planning and implementing marketing infrastructure projects and processes. May be independently assigned to smaller, less complicated projects.
Principal accountabilities include: assisting the development and execution of marketing creative, managing required projects, collaborating with cross-functional strategy and campaign teams, and assisting financial and competitive analyses.Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.

job Requirements
One to three years with proven, relevant experience or equivalent.Knowledge and understanding of marketing business practices and procedures required.Financial services background preferred.Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, project management and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to facilitate meetings, solid presentation skills.Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Office Products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Adobe.Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, ability to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of management.Represent HSBC Credit Centers at Philanthropic and Marketing events.Bi lingual Spanish capabilities strongly preferred.
