The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for improving the Company"&tm;s profitability by implementing sound manufacturing principles to improve the operation"&tm;s quality, cost, delivery and safety. The Manufacturing Supervisor provides all necessary direction to operators and support groups within his/her area of responsibility to ensure the proper and timely fulfillment of customer orders.


Manages production demands through sound scheduling practices that will ensure that all resources (staffing, equipment, methods and materials) are present to produce the required output. Works with Planners and others to optimize production, quality and safety results. Communicates progress, issues, priorities and delivery commitments to all employees as well as management team. Follow established safety, quality and production improvement goals. Monitor visual workplace 5S principles. Provide a safe workplace for all employees. Maintain security of all company assets. Ensure that all equipment is production ready and that an acceptable MRO inventory level is maintained. Monitor employees daily productivity and quality output. Maintain open lines of communication through daily shift briefings and communications by providing a motivational environment through personal example and solid interpersonal skills. Develop employees.

REQUIREMENTS
Specify number of years of job-related experience required; type of degree required/preferred; certificates/licenses; specific skills required (e.g., computer programs, foreign language skills, special machines, etc.). In addition, include special attendance issues (e.g. working on Saturdays).

5 Years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment,

3 Years minimum experience in a supervisor role

Good organizational skills as well as demonstrated ability to communicate in writing

Strong computer skills
