The position function includes:

Implementing, driving, and monitoring key financial systems for the Phoenix manufacturing and satellite facilities.Participation on cross functional teams chartered to resolve business issues or improve processesLead in-depth financial analysis regarding customer and product profitabilityFinancial reportingDeliver analytical derived variance analysisFinancial forecastingEvaluation of major plant capital expendituresMonthly financial closing supportWeekly financial closing supportParticipation in the development and coordination of plant budgets as well as assisting the Plant Controller in the development or maintenance of cost systems, internal business controls, policies, and training.Other business and applicable support responsibilities as needed

Responsibilites include the following:

Manufacturing Scorecards/Reporting ClosingShort Period Spending Variance AnalysisInventory control Data Management-BOM’s and Standard Costs Various business/analyticalSupport Cost of Goods SoldForecasting Process Operations Plan (Budget) Support and inventory control management. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include:

1-5 years of experience Bachelors Degree in finance or accounting is requiredManufacturing experience in some capacityGood working knowledge of an ERP system AP is strongly dedired

The incumbent will have frequent inter-personal contact with various managerial an supervisory personnel within various department s and levels of the organization. The environment dictates fast paced work requiring on-going learning and research, effective time management, and logical analysis of written and numerical information. The candidate must be able to respond with actionable information to a wide variety of internal audiences. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high attention to detail and a high degree of computer software efficiencies are imperative. The candidate must be able to work effectively with very little supervision and must be business results and process oriented.
