Manager Trainee

Job Title: Manager Trainee. 84 Lumber Company is the largest privately owned lumber and building supply retailer in the nation. We have over 450 stores nation wide and are continuing to grow to service the needs of the professional builder, contractor and home owner. Our sales closed in on $4 Billion in 2005 with over 85% of that total coming from professional builders.

MANAGER TRAINEES

•Sell lumber and building materials
•Creating material estimates
•Loading/Unloading Trucks
•Maintaining and merchandising inventory
•Working towards becoming a future Store Manager

Manager Trainees are eligible for their first pay increase after completing a home-study program at their own pace. Usually within the first year, successful Manager Trainees are promoted to Co-Manager of a store, a Contractor Sales Representative, or a position at our Team Headquarters. Simply stated, you create your own future at 84 Lumber!

Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Education or Equivalent (GED)
•Must be 18 years of Age
•Must take and Pass Drug Test
•Must take and Pass Background Check
•Must take and Pass other Pre-Employment Assessments
•Work in outdoor / indoor conditions
•Ability to load and unload lumber and other building materials with or without accommodations
