Manager, NPI & Org Readiness - Implementation

Position requires frequent interaction with internal product development teams, outside vendors, suppliers, and other cross-functional team members. This high visibility role also includes preparing communications and presenting NPI updates to the Implementation team and Staff on program status and process improvement initiatives. Primary responsibilities include:* Total ownership and management of Implementation NPI engagement including: Drive significant improvement in quality Implementations through NPI readiness and lean processes Representing Implementation on NPI Programs for Centricity products Driving Implementation requirements into NPI Programs from pre-kick off through product release Driving OEM Specifications into Implementation per New Product Introduction Requirements Driving all Technical aspects of NPI for Implementation Driving Process and Quality Improvements in Implementation* Managing internal and external project interfaces at multiple organizational levels
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent Experience* Minimum 2 to 3 years implementation or product development experience* Minimum 3-5 years experience in managing employees * Proven leadership ability* Demonstrated success working with Suppliers, Vendors, and cross-functional teams* Strong process orientation, problem solving and technical skills, with a commitment to quality* Excellent communication skills - ability to interface and influence at multiple levels of the organization* Strong interpersonal skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independentlyDesired: * Previous RIS, PACS, or IT System deployment and or develop experience* Experience with RIS Systems and related Information Systems* Green/Black Belt Certification or familiarity with Six quality principles* Engineering / Software Development Experience & Program Management SkillsGeneral: GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The United States has regulations that govern the hiring of current or former U.S. Government employees.
