The candidate will deliver valuable solutions for MRO Sourcing (Maintenance, Repair and Operating Supplies), including: productivity, contract compliance, inventory management, standardization, process excellence and new commodity contracts. Candidate will manage several MRO National Supplier relationships, and provide functional leadership to several Business Units.The candidate will ensure a high level of service to the plants and continuous improvement in supplier's deliverables. The Sourcing role interfaces with Maintenance, Operations, Manufacturing Reliability Group (MRG), Manufacturing Support & Finance. The engaged candidate will exhibit extraordinary talent and elevate the team’s performance through a passion for productivity, One Company team building and dynamic team leadership. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate of Electronic Commerce solutions and partner with Global Sourcing’s Continuous Improvement team to systematically evaluate suppliers, and eliminate waste from the ‘procure to pay’ processRequirements:
Minimum 2-7 years of Sourcing experience
Bachelor's degree
Six Sigma experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Institute of Supply Management (ISM) certification preferred (CPM)Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.Owens Corning is an equal opportunity employer.
