IT Business Systems Analyst, IS Department (Long-term contracting)



Established in 1972 in Long Beach, California, TABC/Toyota is the oldest Toyota North American manufacturing company. TABC/Toyota produces sheet metal components, spare parts, catalytic converters, coated catalytic substrates, and steering columns for Toyota's North American Manufacturing Facilities and for export to Japan and Canada. TABC/Toyota is also involved in the assembly of the first, U.S. produced Hino commercial truck.

TABC seeks a dynamic Business Systems Analyst for it's IS Department. This is a long-term contracting position.



Job Duties:



Map business operations and processes and translate to functional user requirements.
Plan, schedule and control multiple Information System projects
Install & upgrade software, design
Implement & optimize effective data structures
Design data distribution strategies and data access requirements
REQUIREMENTS


MBA and B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or MIS
2-3 years of production/manufacturing related experience preferred
Must be proficient in database programming using Access & MS SQL Server using Windows 2000 & XP platforms.

Must have programming skills using Visual Basic, ASP/ASP.net

Exposure to and understanding of the following is also required:

MS Office, Project, Visio, Ethernet, RFID, Lotus Notes, Internet, Intranet, Extranet Client-Server architectures.
Strong project leadership, communication and customer service skills.
