IT Business Analyst - EDGE

Project EDGE is the Company’s strategic initiative that is charged with designing the enterprise-wide approach to our Global Supply Chain. As a result of changing business processes and supporting information technology, the initiative will improve customer satisfaction and produce in excess of $500 million in annual cost savings. The in-scope processes include Sourcing, Order Management, e-Commerce, Planning, Manufacturing and Delivery. The IT Business Analyst will work in a team environment to recommend and deliver technology to enable business processes within the project scope. Candidates will be sourced internally and externally for openings. The Order Management IT Business Analyst will be responsible for: • Participation in the overall process improvement of the functional area. Analyze complex user information flows and needs. Create functional specs and perform configuration, acceptance testing, and problem resolution. • Evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions that meet needs while maintaining business standards. • Assess data quality; develop and execute improvement plans and KPIs to measure quality; develop and implement processes to create and maintain master data; implement data stewardship and governess processes. • Ensure the business group needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team management and team. • Work cohesively with other Information Technology resources, Business Analysts on EDGE teams, consultants and business representatives during implementation. • Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 3+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: data analysis, data quality, business knowledge, order management variant configuration, or systems integration. BS degree in computer science or related field preferred. SAP SD configuration experience in the following areas is preferred: • SAP SD/LE • Sales document types, item categories and schedule line categories • Text, Output and Partner Determination, Variant Configuration, Consignment, Quote and Third Party Processing • Familiar with IDOC, EDI and ALE processes • Knowledgeable of the SAP integration between the SAP modules SD/PP/MM/CO • Familiar with pricing, billing, freight costing, invoicing processes • Batch management experience Ideal candidates will be team players that bring project management skills, analytical skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
