I/S Senior Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES: (1.) Represent the Information Services Department as a technical liaison in the recommendation, implementation and upgrade of business solutions. Assist business units in defining system requirements through needs analysis, business requirements, and process improvements. (2.) Perform system implementation and updates to server applications in conjunction with business units and vendors. Act as a liaison between system vendor, consultants, internal users, and other personnel. Participate in and coordinate system and user testing and validation. (3.) Provide technical support for the installed base of business applications. Maintain security and integrity of confidential information stored on servers and databases. (4.) Function in a project management capacity for organizational initiatives. (5.) Create and maintain system reference documentation for server based business applications.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS: (1.) College degree in computer related field with formal training in application support and networks. (Experience or non-degree training (i.e. training certifications) will be considered in lieu of a College degree.) (2.) Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in an Information Services supporting network business applications and facilitating the implementation of systems (3.) Experience with Cyborg, CODA, Cognos Impromptu or other Business Intelligence (BI) applications (4.) Experience with Microsoft SQL server, MS-DOS Batch commands, Windows Scripting Host (WSH), HTML, and Transact-SQL programming. (4.) Strong analytical skills with concentrated abilities in using databases and Microsoft Office products (5.) Excellent planning and organizational skills with attention to details while monitoring multiple projects (6.) Excellent project management, multitasking, communication and documentation skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
