Healthcare Business Analyst

Purpose: Our client, a large government integrator, is seeking skilled Business Analysts strong in DB2 and Mainframe with prior Healthcare/Medicare experience for a large government contract.

**The contract is 6 months in duration located just outside downtown Baltimore.

Duties & Requirements:

*Will assist the Project Manager and QA Manager with day-to-day tasks
*Requires strong requirements management experience, including gathering, defining, and documenting functional and technical specifications.
*Responsible for requirements development, business analysis, systems analysis, ICD, SDD, and Test Plan development.
*Experience in the healthcare industry (preferably Medicare) is required. *Will analyze information requirements and business rules based on current documentation, source system understanding and from JAD sessions.
*Will be responsible for requirements development, business analysis, systems analysis, ICD, SDD, and Test Plan development.
*Will manage, organize, and maintain various project deliverables in accordance with document control procedures and CMMi standards.
*Bachelors Degree or higher.
*Proficient with DOORs, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project. Any experience working with DB2/SQL, JCL, and IBM Batch Utilities and Mid Tier environment. Familiar with documentation/testing/systems analysis as well as requirements gathering.

*Minimum 7 years experience in business analysis/systems analysis. Must have good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task while working independently. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment to resolve problems and implement change in a timely manner. Must have experience Healthcare (preferably Medicare) experience and background in Government contracting.Classification:ContractCompensation:
