To provide consultative, administrative and technical support to consulting staff in managing client projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Primary responsibilities of this position to include: Growth and maintenance of Aon Consulting’s business by providing administrative and consultative support to account managers and consulting staff on client work relating to H&W plan review, design & strategy. In addition, provide assistance to account manager in such areas as marketing support, legal compliance, client service issues, and interaction with carriers.
Possess a basic understanding of the H&W practice, and participates as needed on task forces and special project teams. Possess H&W expertise that is recognized by colleagues and clients. Specific areas of expertise needed for this position include but are not limited to (the following items will need to be tailored to specific position; could include such things as): RFP review & preparation; Summary Plan Descriptions and contract compliance; Analysis of utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data & trends; COBRA, HIPAA, 5500’s issues; Contract review and benefit comparisons; Customer service & client communications; Custom & ad hoc reporting; Proposal & report preparation and presentation; Claims issues & administrative problems; Carrier/client relations; Assist consulting team with client proposals, presentations, management reporting, and overall peer review of all work. Also, will provide a high level of a client service support and liaison with carriers. Interacts effectively with Aon Consulting team and client managers and works to understand clients’ objectives and concerns. Manages client open items list and responds to client requests and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed. Maintenance of client information, (electronic) files, and carrier data. When applicable, may also need to work directly with client team to ensure that all work is performed effectively and correctly. Job Requirements
1-3 yrs. Group H&W Benefits experience (either in brokerage/consulting firm or comparable carrier experience). Client Service Orientation
