HR Business Analyst

This position will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Human Resource business support systems (e.g. Lawson, Document Imaging, Enterprise Reporting, and e-Recruiting) and responsible for projects to include: system planning, control and security, reporting, testing and implementation of HR solutions: advising and counseling management and HR business support users on systems, programs, and issues facilitating resolutions.Leads and supports cross-functional projects related to HR business solutions1. HR business support systems responsibilities to include: data conversion, system testing, interface coordination and documentation of final outcomes for HR business solutions (e.g. Lawson, Document Imaging, Enterprise Reporting, and e-Recruiting systems).2. HR business support systems implementation responsibilities to include: analysis of existing MBO processes and comparing those to standard processes that will be in place with new delivery model3. Coordinating with CHI Connect support centers, (e.g. Call Center, H & W and Retirement Administration and Operations Centers) on any issues impacting the processes and workflows in these centers.4. Identifies and maintains HR business support systems security classes5. Creates and maintains standard reports within HR business support systems and responds to data requests for ad hoc and smart notification reports.6. Updates and maintains HR business support systems tables as a result of organizational, business process changes or upgrades7. Manages the uploading of mass data changes within the various HR business support systems.8. Serves as liaison with information systems staff in resolving programming issues and also troubleshoots end user issues within the HR business support systems.Some Travel Required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years in an HR Business Support role or other HR related role required Basic understanding of Microsoft office Suite with emphasis on Access and Excel Experience with Lawson’s HR Suite strongly preferred Basic understanding of common technologies such as FTP programs, relational databases, networking, and web technologies preferred Experience with Crystal Report writer (Enterprise Report Writer preferred) and an ability to write complex SQL statements a plus Experience administering application security preferred Experience with document imaging software preferred Experience with Cognos report writing a plusBachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field required.Equivalent experience may substitute for Bachelor’s degree.Professional certification such as CPP, CEBS, PHR is preferredBenefits
