personal best, succeed and grow!We are currently recruiting for the position of: FIELD TECHJob Description: Provides overall technical, administrative, and management
support to support the operations of the Systems Technicians and Technical
Supervisors providing telecommunications services to the North Carolina region;
Accepts escalations from technicans, customers and internal departments. Manages
the installation of key systems, voice mail, PBX's, autodialiers, Channel Banks,
CSU/DSU's, DACS, routers, video conferencing equipment, long distance, local,
and data services. Some overtime will be required. Job will require approximatly
25% travel. Skills, Experience, Education or Other Requirements Needed for this
Job: High School Diploma or GED; some college or college course work preferred;
at least seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Experience with long distance voice,
data, loud speaker paging, mechanical key, electronic key, PBX, voice mail
customer premise equipment; T1, data, and local test equipment; general
knowledge of telecom industry terminology and applications with sufficient field
experience to relate with technicians and customers; and previous supervisory or
management experience required. Computer proficiency preferably in the
following: Windows98/2000, MSWord, MSExcel, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Hyperterminal,
and DOS.
