Director of Materials Management

Department: Materials ManagementSchedule: Full-timeShift: Day shiftHours: 7:30-4:00Job Details: Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required. - Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) is preferred. - Preious experience in heath care materials management and supply function is required. - One or more year’s supervisory experience is required in one or more of the following areas of responsibility: Purchasing, Storeroom or Warehouse Management, Hospital Materials Management, Central Supply, Sterile Processing and /or any pertinent combination of the areas listed above.The Director of Materials Management is responsible for the acquisition, storage and distribution of medical and general supplies for use by United Medical Center. The purchase of capital equipment will be coordinated and completed through the office of the Materials Manager. Director of Materials Management is responsible for the supervision of purchasing, receiving, general storeroom, coping/printing, and central supply functions at United Medical Center.
