Database Developer/Business Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND JOB FUNCTION
Directly responsible for all database needs and application software associated with databases.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1.Thoroughly understands data model, data and meaning of data as it pertains to AMA.2.Database programming.3.Database administration. Backup/Recovery.4.Performs routine and customary operational and monitoring activities to ensure the database environment is stable and capable of meeting ongoing business needs.5.Develops reports, stored procedures.6.Develops extensions to current data model.7.Develops data models and databases to support AMA business functions.8.Applies software upgrades to current systems.9.Responsible for any conversion/migration to new software.10.Development in a .NET environment.11.Analyzes business processes/problems and provides process improvement supported by logic as well technology.12.Applies business logic to technology to support business.13.Analyzes software issues as they pertain to use of software and data and implements solutions.14.Tests developed processes and procedures to ensure accuracy.15.Evaluates new software needs.16.Assists users.

No phone calls, please.Four-year degree from a college or university in information systems, computer science or related field. 5-7 years related work experience, 3-5 years in an ERP environment, 3-5 years with large databases. Knowledge of general business operations.Deep experience in an ERP systems environment, SQL, DTS (Data Transformation Services), dba MS/SQL, Crystal Reports, Cognos, .NET platform, proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Association Management System knowledge a plus.
